Beer & Carols 13th December 2009
Once again we are holding this popular event on Sunday evening at 8pm, come early to grab a seat!
Changes to room 3
We have completed an upgrade to room 3 our secret room by adding an en-suite facility to it, this makes the old bathroom redundant and allows us to have a spare facility in case of a problem in any of the other rooms. At the same time we have added a radiator to the room and there'e one in the new en suite too. Additionally we have insulated the floor with 16" of loft insulation in the void we discovered under the floor and over the old cellar below as a result the room is heaps warmer.
New Qualifications
We believe in ongoing training within our family business as we are none of us too old to learn, at the same time things are constantly changing and times are tough so we need all the skills available to us to run our business.
Anna Natasha and Roger have acheived NVQ level 2 in Hospitality during training they each took different modules so that they could share their training with each other.
Through Advantage West Midlands Business Link Roger has just completed 3 modules of the profitable business portfolio and passed the British Institute of Innkeepers advanced certificate in licensed hospitality.

Bewdley Festival Fringe
Beer & Carols - Sunday 14th December 2008 - 8.00pm
As a finale event of the Bewdley Festival Fringe we hosted a beer and carols event in December last year. Many thought it an odd mix but it worked well with locals, members of just about every faith in the town singing there hearts out as we plied them with lots of drinks. Brilliant atmosphere and this year it's also including a quiz with prizes and we hope to raise funds for Sue Ryder too.
